Ashland Shakespeare Festival
Jun. 9th, 2012 10:32 amI spent two days this week at the Ashland Shakespeare festival with a friend. She is friends with an actress from the LA Women's Shakespeare Company and we went to see her in two plays. She played a woman in Seagull and a man in Medea, Macbeth, Cinderella. We also met her for dinner after the plays.
The first night we were figuring out where to eat when Lisa (the actress) stopped another actress to figure out what was opened at the time. She introduced us to Ako. It was during dinner when the subject of Takarazuka came up when Lisa said 'Oh yeah, I've heard of that. Ako was in that'.
That's when I remembered that Ako was the one from two years ago that we all tried to figure out who she was. So I met my first Takarazuka actress and didn't realize it till later. Damn!!!!
